Schelling, a transfer student from Virginia Tech who has been involved with the Emerson club hockey team since 2010, turned to coaching instead.

Down to the wire

The Falcons wasted little time, responding five minutes later with their second goal. Albertus Magnus forward Danielle Figueroa kicked a breakaway along the right side, into the left corner and past Emerson goalie Allie Altman. Figueroa’s first goal of the season tied the game at 2-2, forcing what would become double overtime.
